Daniella Porter, Director
Email Daniella Daniella Porter, our director, has many years of varied experience caring for and educating young children. She grew up here in Gainesville and has strong roots in the community. She received her Bachelor’s of Arts in Special Education from the University of Florida and her Master’s of Education in Early Childhood Education from the University of Florida as well. She has also completed her Education Specialist in Early Childhood Curriculum from UF. She has spent many summers as an administrator at Jordan Glen, a local summer camp, supervising counselors and coordinating activities for children from kindergarten through eighth grade. She has also had several experiences in local schools and centers specializing in the education of children from birth through grade three with and without disabilities. In recent years, she has been researching the curriculum approaches that influence care at Imagine Learning Center. She has carefully and thoughtfully integrated those approaches and developed a well-rounded and innovative program that is unlike any other childcare center in the area.
